Motion Graphics

The christmas project that I have chosen is the Motion Graphic Brief set by Liz. The brief pointed out that I had to create a new brand for BBC 2 and maybe present it with 4 or 6 slides. 

At the beginning I gathered some research about BBC 2 and what programmes it represent and I found out that BBC 2 is actually the first channel to release program in full colour. After the research I then use it to generate some ideas for my short animation representing BBC 2.

First I have think of a count down timer to generate the BBC 2 logo because it could be easily put in transition of the time on the screen. I picked black and white colour scheme because I tend to show how BBC 2 evolve to colour.

I then tried to add a normal colour combination to the logo to show the transition of white to colour however It felt simple. Using photoshop I tried to put a little effect on the logo to make it more appealing and a little bit complex

After the short animation I then have to think of different ideas to do a little episodes in which I can apply the logo in. Some ideas down below

Everyday Olympic

This pictures represents my idea which is "mop hockey". Because hockey is a game that is necessary to have a stick , the idea that I can develop and create a new game using a mop instead of a regular hockey stick is a best fit. One flaw that the tutor point out to me is that what is the acting putt on the game. An actually hockey ball/putt cannot be push by a regular mop because its not strong enough therefore he suggested to use a cleaning agent instead. The cleaning agent will act as the ball and at the same time clean the floor and who was the area clear out is the team that wins the game
